Description: Summit Technologies, Inc. is seeking permanent full-time Front-End Developers to work out of Charlotte, NC. Under minimal supervision, candidates are responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Javascript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, C# and ASP.NET. Developers will undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge in software design and testing.
Job Description:
  • Analyze designs to build component-based applications in a web-delivery environment
  • Experience in retrieving the raw data based on input parameters, massaging the data, and delivering the data in the requested format.
  • Experience in writing data, manipulating the data stored, and using certain business rules and processes.
  • Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting applications on various versions of the .NET framework through bug fixes, upgrades, and patching.
  • Familiar with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Perform customizations, system enhancements, and report writing.
  • Participate in the requirements gathering, design and development of new systems to be incorporated into and improve the existing processing environment.
  • Performs complex analyses of system requirements and of existing business processes and information systems.
  • Develop solutions that integrate with other systems through web services.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a degree and acceptable relevant work experience.
  • A solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, multi-tiered architectures, data structures, and algorithm design required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive software programming building web applications and services is required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills, adapt quickly and work independently.
  • Experience resolving complex development issues.
  • Must have experience with the entire software development lifecycle process, best practices and coding standards.
  • Possess strong oral communication and analytical skills to effectively elicit, capture, develop and implement customer requirements.
